Over the years, Mayors have issued Proclamations recognizing
Moorish American Day and/or Moorish American Week regarding
Moorish Americans as Members of an organization (the M.S.T. of A.
Religious corporation) incorporated within the jurisdiction of the U.S.
For the first time, Mayors have issued Proclamations not at the behest of a U.S. incorporated-religious group (M.S.T. of A.), but to the Moorish American National Government, The Free-National-Government of an actual Nation of People bearing One- Free- National -Name with their own Constitution, Flag, Seal, Emblem, History, clearly-defined Geographic Region, Citizenry, etc.
2012 - Moorish American Week Proclamation requests were released from the Moorish American National Government on the 6th day of December, 2011 to a number of M.A.N.G. Consul Generals throughout the various States wherein they work/reside. The requests were extended to Mayors during that week and many Departments of Correspondence/Mayors responded in a very timely manner despite the rather short notice. The M.A.N.G. and Moorish Americans appreciate the goodwill and insightfulness of these Mayors who encourage the residents of their cities to recognize the related activities of Moorish Americans during this time. We Thank all of you. We extend honors to these Mayors, their staffs and the Divine Ministers who completed the assignment given.
Currently, Our total Census of Registered-Moorish Americans (recognized by their own Constitutional Government) exceeds eighty-thousnad (80,000) Citizens, and growing daily.

Honors to the Moorish and Mayor in the Charlotte, NC Territory for their magnanimous support in recognizing the Moorish American as one pure and clean Nation of people.

6).Dr. Alfred Tard El, and other Divine Ministers in Trenton
New Jersey on the steps of City Hall, displaying the Proclamation that was issued to them by the Mayor of the city of Trenton, looking "Most Moorish" with their Turban and Fezzes emulating our Holy Prophet who was continually involved in the affairs of men and nations. We would like to extend a high honor to the Northward Councilwoman, Marge Caldwell-Wilson who it was presented to first and with an eye for the Humanities, she ushered it into Council to be approved. We also have to extend high honor to Council President, Kathy Mc Bride for exercising the True and Divine Principal of Love for the Humanities, by signing on to have January 8th thru January 15th honored as Moorish American Week. Islam.
